Merry Christmas! Christmas Cookies

Merry Christmas! I made 4 kinds of cookies this year. Sugar Kiss, Sugar Jam, Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate cookies.

Im going to tell you how to make them!

Double Chocolate: Makes 12 cookies

Ingredients: 1 cup softened butter; 1 1/2 cups of white sugar; 2 eggs; 2 tsps vannila extract; 2 cups all purpose flour; 2/3 cup cocoa powder; 3/4 tsps baking soda; 1 tsp Kosher salt; 1 cup unsalted softend butter; 1 cup granulated sugar; 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar; 2 eggs; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 2 cups of chocolate chips.

Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed for 3 minutes or until fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips.

Refrigerate for 4 hours. Set oven to 350°. Take out and roll into tiny balls. Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!!!

Sugar Kiss and Sugar Jam: Makes 48 cookies

Ingredients: 2 cups sifted flour; 1/2 tsp salt; 1 cup butter; 1/2 cup superfine sugar; 2 tsp vanilla extract; Jam or Hershey kisses; 1/2 cup sifted confection’s sugar.

Sift together flour and salt. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add extract. Slowly mix in flour.   Then chill dough for 1-2 hours

Preheat oven to 325°. Shape dough into one inch balls, space to inches apart. Make a deep thumbprint in the center of each. Then, fill with jam. IF YOU ARE USING KISSES, DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE OVEN AS COOKIES BAKE!! Bake for 15 minutes or until cookies are the color of pale sand. Let cool, the dust with confecton’s sugar. If then, you would like to put the kisses inside, you may. Enjoy!!

My homeade chocolate chip cookies are on another post. If you search it up, it has the recipe on it. Here’s the link:  https://gabbyscreations.wordpress.com/2017/03/30/homeade-chocolate-chip-cookies%f0%9f%8d%aa%f0%9f%8d%aa%f0%9f%8d%aa/

The leaning tower of cookies!! 🍪

Triple chip cookies!

Even though they are  not homemade, they are still some of the best cookies I’ve had in a while!  These are NESTLE TOLL HOUSE TRIPLE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH.  They are great for sleepovers too.  What I would do next time is make them a but bigger so that you don’t eat 3 cookies to make 1 big one! They are soo good with milk or egg nog! Santa Clause will love them!

I wanted to tell you that I have a Thanksgiving special that I’m posting on Monday!

Happy Birthday Grandma❤

A very special present for a very special lady!

Happy birthday grandma! I love you more than you’ll ever know!  Just wanted to say thanks again for your loving support!

This is a Jane White Cake. It’s a special cake that I named. All it is is white mix and white frosting.  The name comes from the phrase “Plain Jane”! In a yellow or white cake, consider using light daisy sour cream and/or vanilla. Just 1 tablespoon of it.  I use it to balance the sweet and bitter. For vanilla, just use a tablespoon of it. I prefer using both to add a little mph to it!

Neapolitan Cream Cake!

This is my first time making a ‘multi frosting’ cake! It was also really fun to make with all the colors! Its really simple to make!:

  1. Make a cake normally
  2. I prefer buying  3 types of frosting

Frost cake in verticle strips. If you want thin layers of frosting then do it horizontally. (I perfer vertically so the frost wont run out so fast!)

Note: Try NOT to mix the frosting!
